OVERVIEW / MEMBERSHIP

Purpose:

The purpose of this association is to bring together like minded people of the Christian faith in order to create fellowship and agree upon common ethical practices within the day to day life of doing business as a photographer.

Acknowledgment:

I as a member of this association acknowledge that I am a Bible believing Christian who is in good standing within the church that I regularly attend.

I agree to do business as a photographer in an ethical manner as reflected in the Bible.

I agree to represent myself accurately in my experience and skill level when dealing with potential clients.   

I will do my best to handle all disagreements in a Biblical manner putting forth all efforts for resolution.

Belief:

As a member of Christian Wedding & Portrait Photographers Association we agree with the basic foundational Christian beliefs listed below. We do understand that as Christians there will be certain areas of difference but feel these beliefs listed below to be true basic beliefs among all Biblical Christians.  

1. We believe the scriptures -- both the old and new testaments -- to be the verbally inspired word of God, written by men in God's control, inerrant and infallible in the original manuscripts and the final authority in faith and life.

2. We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons -- Father, Son and Holy Spirit -- who are identical in essence, equal in power and glory, and possess precisely the same attributes and perfection.

3. We believe that the Lord, Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became man without ceasing to be God; that He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin in order that He might redeem sinful man. He accomplished this redemption by voluntarily giving Himself as a sinless substitutionary sacrifice on the cross thereby satisfying God's righteous judgment against the sin of man. He gave proof that He accomplished that redemption by His bodily resurrection from the grave. He then ascended to the right hand of His Father where He intercedes on behalf of His people.

4. We believe that salvation is the gift of God's grace given to all whom receive the calling of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

5. We believe the true church, called in scripture the body of Christ, is a spiritual organism. Every person who has trusted Jesus Christ for salvation is a part of the church. The local church, as established in scripture, is made up of redeemed individuals who have joined together for worship, instruction, fellowship and service.

Membership Fee:

$20 one time fee for basic listing


Photographer Classification:

Pro ~ Making 75% or more of your yearly income from photography

Semi Pro ~ Making 25% or more of your yearly income from photography

Hobbyist ~ Making 25% or less of your yearly income from photography (0% is under 25% which means you can still be a member at 0%)

After acknowledging and agreeing with all above items, fill out all of the info on the "Contact Us" page and send us your info with the words "Basic Membership" in the comments box.

Once we receive your info we will visit your website to insure the address is valid and send you a return email with a PayPal invoice for a one time basic listing fee of $20. Feel free to pay by credit card, debit card, or your PayPal account.
